A large acarine creature with poisoned mouth-parts and a thirst for blood.

Giant mites are poisonous clinging vermin found on Dungeon:2 and lower. They're only slightly more dangerous than rats and other early threats.

Although weak, fragile characters should try to avoid melee with mites as their poison may be enough to finish you off after the battle.
