Haste Other

Version 0.25: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.

Speeds the actions of a nearby ally.

Haste Other is a monster-only spell which functions almost like the Haste spell, except that it cannot target the caster. This makes it a pure support spell, and one whose threat level is entirely dependent on how dangerous the nearby monsters are. Monsters can only use this spell on other monsters of the same type, although salamanders can also target nagas.

The following enemies cast Haste Other:

• T Deep troll shaman
• 6 Demonspawn warmonger
• e Dowan
• e Dowan (enraged)
• g Gnoll shaman
• o Nergalle
• O Ogre mage
• N Salamander mystic
