Boots of the spider

Version 0.14: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.

A novel pair of boots invented by a suitor of Arachne.

the +3 pair of boots of the spider

Allows Jumping
Allows Clinging
+50 Stealth

Desirability

The boots of the spider are an excellent find, combining the stealth and jumping egos with unbeatably high defense and the ability to cling to walls (essentially a permanent, nerfed form of flight). If you have feet and don't actively avoid getting into melee range, wear these.

History

The boots of the spider were added in 0.14, and will be removed in 0.15.
