A powerful, belligerent efreet. (Is there any other kind?)

“And Allah said,
‘As thou the deed hast done, so now the office shall be thine, O Azrael,
to gather up for me the souls of men and women when their time has come;
the souls of saints and sinners, of beggars and of princes,
of the old or young, whate’er befall; and even though friends weep,
and hearts of loved ones ache with sorrow and with anguish,
when bereft of those they love.’
So Azrael became the messenger of Death.”

-J. E. Hanauer, _Folk-lore of the Holy Land, Moslem, Christian and Jewish_. 1907.

Useful Info

Azrael the Boundless Flame is a unique efreet, often accompanied by several hell hounds and fire elementals. Like all efreets, he comes armed with a flaming scimitar, but he's much happier hitting you with his wide variety of Fire Magic and damnation spells while his pets do their work.

Tips & Tricks

As a demon, he is immune to silence. Fire resistance will defend against most of his spells and melee attacks, but nothing will protect you from his damnation. Also, his allies are all immune to fire, so don't think he'll just wait patiently in the back row to throw his fire spells.
If you've got good stabbing capabilities, take advantage of the fact that he can't see invisible.
He is vulnerable to cold, so Ice Magic or a wand of iceblast can deal decent damage quickly; this also has the added benefit of tearing through his allies in short order.
