Reading a scroll of butterflies creates a mass of friendly butterflies.
This scroll is mutually exclusive with the scroll of fog; only one of the two scrolls may spawn in any given game.
Tips and Tricks
- Butterflies are great at blocking attacks; though are evasive, for better or worse.
- Butterflies may also distract enemies, and swapping places wil allow you to gain a distance without fear of attacks of opportunity.
- Like all summons, they can be affected by a scroll of immolation. But their sporratic movement means that you should be very prepared for a few fiery explosions to the face.
History
- Scrolls of butterflies were introduced in 0.29. It replicates the effect of the removed spell Summon Butterflies, though spawns more butterflies.
