Reading a scroll of amnesia causes you to forget a spell of your choosing, restoring some MP. It will only identify if you already know at least one spell. You may press Esc after reading to cancel the scroll's effect.

- Any caster who does not worship Sif Muna should hoard these for the late game. They are a much less expensive means of forgetting spells than destroying spell books.
- As a last resort tactic, using one of these in combat on a high level spell you don't care about may give you the MP you need to finish a difficult fight.
