Version 0.34: This article is up to date for the latest stable release of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.
| It improves the success rate of the wearer's forgecraft spells and enhances their melee attacks proportionally to forgecraft skill. |
The resonance ego can be found on heavy body armour (scale mail or heavier). It reduces the raw failure rate of Forgecraft spells by ×66.6%, and boosts melee damage by 1.5% * Forgecraft.
Note that raw failure rate =/= actual, displayed failure rate. The failure rate modifier is equivalent to the boost going from 0 to 2 levels of wizardry. This is not considered wizardry, but stacks independently with wizardry.
