Version 0.30: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.

This bow was woven from the air itself by Eiolaiphi the air mage as a gift for one of the children of Uskayaw. The bow can be pulled with incredible speed, and it launches swift and true. It is also nearly indestructable, which is fortunate given that the original owner was ripped to pieces by jealous celebrants.

Desirability

Zephyr^[1] is a near-perfect ranged weapon; it is a +8 longbow with a top-tier brand and extra dexterity on top. In the extended game, you may prefer a triple crossbow or a weapon of holy wrath. Otherwise, it is an excellent weapon.

Trivia

Prior to 0.20, this was known as the bow of Krishna "Sharnga".

==Desirability==
-Zephyr is a near-perfect weapon for anyone with a good ranged weapons skill. Experienced archers may occasionally prefer a highly-enchanted longbow with the flaming or freezing brand for dealing more damage per hit and taking out heavily armoured opponents, but a speed brand on a +8 longbow is an extremely effective combination against just about any target. Overall, a highly respectable weapon.
