Useful Info
Searing wretches are incendiary undead found in Gehenna. Strong, tough melee threats, their melee attacks can also temporarily reduce your fire resistance.
Tips & Tricks
- If you can afford to, try to avoid being in melee, since searing wretches have no ranged attacks. Borgnjor's Vile Clutch, Disjunction, throwing nets, etc. can work.
- Searing wretches are not fast, have no ranged attacks nor can they travel through lava.

- In 0.33, searing wretches will be able to swim through lava.
