A deathly silence seems to surround this book as it's opened; even the very air appears to recoil from the monstrosities pictured here. The pages, covered in abominable runes, describe how the mighty among summoners can bend to their will the terrible things from betwixt the planes. Many have been the unwary souls, however, who have toyed with this tome and been driven mad by eldritch horrors from beyond imagining.

WARNING: If you fail in an attempt to memorise a spell from this book, the book will lash out at you.

Reading the Grand Grimoire requires you to either have both level 6 in Spellcasting and level 10 in Summonings, or to be a follower of Vehumet, who will grant you this book as a gift. Summoners receive it as their third gift, Conjurers as their sixth.

If you fail to memorise a spell from this book, you may be subjected to a severe Summonings miscast effect such as the creation of hostile abominations, demons, an eldritch tentacle, or even Banishment.
