This weapon falls into the 'Polearms' category. It is a one-handed weapon, and it is better for the dexterous. Demonspawn deal slightly more damage with it.
Demon tridents are one of the best polearms available for characters who intend to wield a shield, dealing more base damage than standard tridents, though at a slight cost to accuracy. If you're playing a demonspawn character, they become even better, dealing slightly more damage.
