Word of Recall

Version 0.13: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.

Word of Recall is monsters-only spell that teleports a random band of I_NORMAL creatures to the caster. The spell takes 3 turns to fully cast, however, so if you can kill, confuse, silence, panic, petrify, or otherwise disable the caster, the spell will not take effect.

The following monsters can cast Word of Recall:

• Ironbrand convoker

It can also be cast on you as an effect of a Zot trap.

History

In 0.14 this spell will be subject to a breath timer, so it cannot be cast repeatedly, and can be interrupted with something that causes breath timeout, such as curare.

This spell was added in 0.12.
