A loathsome arachnid, armed to the teeth. Useful Info

Scorpions are dangerous bugs with powerful poisonous stings. They are faster than most player species and capable of inflicting lethal amounts of poison damage. Scorpions can be found in the the early-to-mid portions of the Dungeon as well as the Spider's Nest.

Tips & Tricks

• Low-level characters without poison resistance should try to weaken or kill them at range however they can.
• Scorpions are vulnerable to poison themselves. Mephitic Cloud, Poisonous Vapours, and Sting are very effective methods of handling them.
• Remember to use a potion of curing if you don't think you can wait out your poisoned condition.

• In 0.27, their movement speed was increased from 10 to 12.
