A long, strong bow made of yew.

This weapon falls into the 'Bows' category. It is a two-handed weapon.

Longbows are an upgrade over shortbows, dealing more damage and even firing faster at maximum skill.

In 0.29, longbows had their damage reduced (15 to 12) as well as their mindelay (7 to 6; base delay remained the same). They were affected by the ranged weapons rework that applied to all launchers, including the removal of the dedicated bows skill and arrows.
Longbows were introduced in 0.15.
