This weapon falls into the 'Maces & Flails' category. It is a two handed weapon, and it is best used by the strong.
The great mace is the largest and heaviest weapon in the Maces & Flails category that most races can wield. It is less devastating than an executioner's axe or a triple sword, but can still deal heavy damage and reaches its minimum delay at a lower skill level. Even so, if you intend to be a two-handed weapon fighter, you will probably want to look elsewhere.
