A brilliant little moth. A hateful mutagenic dust rolls off its wings. “All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.” -Roy Batty, “Blade Runner”

Useful Info

Polymoths are dangerous insects which magnify the threat posed by any monsters they come into contact with. They will occasionally polymorph any nearby monsters into different, stronger monsters, though the chance of them doing so falls rapidly as the monster's HD rises.

History

Polymoths were considered for addition in 0.13, and could be encountered in trunk for a brief time, but were never included in a stable version.
