| Hunting slings are one-handed ranged weapons. They accept both stones and sling bullets as ammunition, but using sling bullets will increase your damage significantly. They deal 7 damage with stones and 9 with sling bullets. Although weaker than bows or crossbows, they only require one hand, making them a good secondary weapon option for characters using shields, and have more abundant ammunition due to the ability to use both stones and sling bullets.
| |
| | |
| While hunting slings are perfectly respectable ranged weapons for the early game, sling-users will generally want to upgrade to a fustibalus at some point for superior damage.
