| This rod allows its wielder to smite foes from afar. |
The rod of smiting can be evoked to smite any enemy within your LOS, with the attack treated as a level 4 Smiting spell. Although its damage output is not too impressive, it can hit enemies hiding behind their allies and is useful for taking down fleeing monsters.
Damage = 7 + 33 * (1d(5 + 3 * Evocations) - 1)/191

Rods of smiting were removed in 0.11.
